What we collect
LayoverHacker does not require an account. The only personal data we collect is your email address if you choose to pay $2 for an emailed itinerary. We use this solely to deliver that email and do not store it beyond what is required by our payment processor (Stripe) and email provider (Resend).
Search data
Flight searches (origin, destination, dates, passport nationality) are passed to our flight data provider to retrieve results. We do not log or store individual search queries linked to identifiable users.
Leaderboard
When you generate an itinerary for a hub city, that city's count on the leaderboard is incremented. No personal information is recorded — only the aggregate count per city.
Cookies & analytics
We use basic analytics to understand site traffic. No advertising trackers or third-party cookies are used.
Third-party services
We use Stripe (payments), Resend (email), SerpApi (flight data), and Google Gemini (AI itineraries). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data you provide.
